The Verus Engineering OEM Wing Riser Kit for the Porsche 991 GT3 improves the performance of the factory rear wing while also enhancing rearward visibility through the rear window. By raising the OEM rear wing, the kit allows the factory wing to generate additional downforce while improving the driver's view through the rear-view mirror.

Manufactured in-house using 5-axis CNC machining, the wing risers are constructed from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum for a precise, durable, and lightweight solution.

Verus Engineering used advanced aerodynamic analysis software throughout the development process to ensure the factory Porsche rear wing could benefit from the increased mounting height. In-house scan data was also used to develop the risers so their styling follows the factory Porsche body lines and integrates with the vehicle like an OEM component.

The OEM Wing Riser Kit raises the factory rear wing by 73 mm, providing additional aerodynamic performance while maintaining the clean appearance of the Porsche 991 GT3.

Designed as a simple bolt-on upgrade, the Verus Engineering wing risers add performance, function, and improved aesthetics to both 991.1 and 991.2 Porsche 911 GT3 models.

Aerodynamic Science

The factory Porsche 991 GT3 rear wing features several degrees of adjustment that allow the driver to change its Angle of Attack (AOA) and aerodynamic load. However, the factory mounting height limits the maximum aerodynamic performance available from the OEM wing.

The Verus Engineering OEM Wing Riser Kit raises the wing by 73 mm, allowing the OEM wing to operate with improved airflow underneath the airfoil. The increased height also provides additional adjustment range, allowing the wing's AOA to be increased beyond the factory configuration.

Increasing the AOA can generate additional rear downforce, while the improved airflow beneath the raised wing further enhances the efficiency and downforce-generating capability of the OEM airfoil.

Verus Engineering validated the performance improvements through internal Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, comparing the raised OEM wing configuration against the original factory setup.
