The Verus Engineering Front Splitter Kit for the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is engineered to significantly increase front-end downforce while maintaining a strong balance between aerodynamic performance, durability, and street usability. Designed using direct vehicle scan data and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), this front splitter works as part of the Verus Engineering Ventus 3 Aerodynamics Package and is specifically engineered to complement the UCW Rear Wing Kit and rear diffuser for a balanced aerodynamic setup.

The front splitter creates a pressure differential between its upper and lower surfaces, generating substantial front-end downforce with a minimal increase in aerodynamic drag. The design is capable of handling the additional aerodynamic loads produced by large rear wings and is rated to withstand 300+ lbs of downforce.

For a secure and durable installation, the splitter mounts to two primary chassis locations and incorporates quick-release mounting points for easier removal when required. The splitter blade is manufactured from Carbon Polyweave, an advanced lightweight and durable material used throughout high-level motorsports, including IndyCar, NASCAR, and Formula 1. Unlike traditional carbon fiber and ABS splitter materials, Carbon Polyweave is designed to resist cracking and breaking when subjected to impacts and abrasion. Unlike aluminum splitters, it is less likely to grab surfaces and bend underneath the vehicle. The material combines low weight, stiffness, durability, abrasion resistance, and a premium appearance, making it well suited for demanding track and HPDE applications.

An integrated air dam is included to close the gap between the splitter and the vehicle's underbody. Manufactured from 5052 aluminum sheet metal, the air dam follows the contours of the factory front bumper and helps improve the overall aerodynamic efficiency of the splitter assembly. The air dam is powder-coated black for increased durability and a clean appearance.

The entire system was developed through an iterative aerodynamic design process using advanced analysis software. Verus Engineering carefully sized the front splitter and aerodynamic components to work with the rear wing and diffuser, helping create a predictable and balanced aerodynamic package.
