Description
The Verus Engineering Fender Evacuation Kit is designed to improve airflow management around the front wheel wells of the S550 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT350R. The factory fender liner leaves a significant opening in the underbody, allowing high-pressure air to enter an area where it can contribute to aerodynamic lift and drag. The Verus Engineering Fender Evacuation Kit helps redirect this airflow out through the wheel well, improving underbody airflow and overall aerodynamic efficiency.
Through extensive CFD analysis and on-track testing, Verus Engineering developed these fender evacuators to improve wheel-well airflow, reduce drag, and increase downforce. When combined with the Verus Engineering Ventus 1 aerodynamic package, the Fender Evacuation Kit can reduce the vehicle's coefficient of drag by 0.023, or 23 points, providing a substantial aerodynamic improvement for both street and track applications.
The fender evacuators are manufactured from durable 3mm ABS plastic, providing OE-level appearance, longevity, and resistance to everyday use. The components are designed to bolt onto the vehicle in a factory-style configuration and can be installed using minimal hand tools.
Note: The brackets must be modified when running full-length jacking rails. The kit will also work on regular S550 chassis configurations with slight modification.
