The controller features selectable fuel-specific maps controlled through a Bluetooth smartphone application. With 100-octane fuel, the M2 Competition produces up to 513 HP and 538 lb-ft of calculated flywheel torque, along with 451 WHP and 473 WTQ of measured wheel output.

CarBahn Performance Controller (CPC)
The CarBahn Performance Controller is a plug-and-play ECU performance solution designed to increase boost pressure in turbocharged vehicles, significantly increasing horsepower and torque.
The CPC uses selectable performance maps that can be accessed through a Bluetooth-connected smartphone application. The maps are designed to accommodate different fuel octane levels.
Available octane maps include:
- 91 Octane
- 93 Octane
- 100 Octane
This allows the driver to select the appropriate performance map according to the fuel being used.
Future Software Upgrade
If you choose to upgrade the CarBahn Performance Controller to software tuning in the future, a $250 upgrade fee applies.
If the optional CarBahn powertrain warranty was purchased, the warranty can be transferred to the software upgrade at no additional cost.

CarBahn offers an optional powertrain warranty for its products, including the CarBahn Performance Controller.
Emissions Legality
CarBahn notes that removing the catalytic converter through the use of downpipes can create emissions compliance issues. According to CarBahn, back-to-back dyno testing with the catalytic converter installed and removed showed a power gain of approximately 11 HP.
Removing the catalytic converter can make it difficult to pass required emissions testing and may be illegal depending on applicable laws and regulations.
