The Verus Engineering Dive Plane (Canard) Kit for the Subaru WRX/STI VA adds front-end downforce without requiring the front splitter to be moved farther forward. The Verus Engineering design was developed using advanced aerodynamic analysis software to extract additional performance from the available build volume. Internal vehicle scan data was also used to achieve an OEM-like fit and finish.
The dive planes are particularly effective as an aerodynamic balancing component. When a vehicle is equipped with a larger rear wing or rear diffuser, additional rear aerodynamic load can shift the vehicle's overall aero balance rearward. Adding front dive planes provides additional front-end load to help restore a more balanced setup.

Ventus packages are designed to improve aerodynamic performance over the factory vehicle while maintaining a safe and balanced aerodynamic setup. The components are developed to work together as a complete system rather than as isolated aerodynamic modifications.

Installation
The dive planes can be installed using either the supplied 3M VHB double-sided tape or mechanical hardware.
Two installation templates are included to help achieve accurate positioning and ensure the dive planes are installed in the intended location for optimal aerodynamic performance.
