Description
The Verus Engineering Dive Plane (Canard) Kit for the Subaru WRX VB is designed to increase front-end downforce without requiring the front splitter to be moved farther forward. Properly designed dive planes can generate downforce directly on the dive plane while also improving airflow evacuation from the front wheel wells.
Verus Engineering focused the development of this kit on manipulating airflow around the vehicle to improve aerodynamic performance. By optimizing the design for the available build volume, the dive planes provide increased aerodynamic performance while maintaining a clean, integrated appearance.
Utilizing state-of-the-art CFD analysis during the R&D process, Verus Engineering extracted additional performance from the available space and optimized the dive planes to increase the amount of downforce generated.

Verus Engineering utilized OpenFOAM CFD software during development to optimize the dive plane design. This allowed the engineering team to extract more aerodynamic performance from the available build volume on the Subaru WRX VB.
