This aerodynamic development process allowed Verus Engineering to extract additional performance from the dive plane shape and increase the amount of downforce generated.

Unlike simply extending a front splitter farther forward, dive planes provide another method of adding front-end aerodynamic load. This makes them particularly useful when additional front-end downforce is needed without substantially changing the splitter's position.
