Description
The Verus Engineering Backing Plate Kit is a durable, performance-focused brake cooling solution designed to direct cool air directly into the center of the brake rotor. Constructed from stainless steel and fitted with properly shaped dry carbon air ducts, these backing plates provide an excellent foundation for a custom or DIY brake cooling system.
By connecting a 2.5-inch silicone brake hose to the backing plates and supplying cool ambient air, the system can help improve brake endurance, extend component life, reduce brake fade, and reduce the risk of brake fluid boiling during demanding driving.
The backing plates are designed to work with both OEM brake systems and aftermarket big brake kits, making them a versatile upgrade for street, track, and competition applications.
Stainless steel hardware and hard-anodized aluminum spacers provide additional durability and corrosion resistance, helping the components remain protected from rust over long-term use.

Installation
The backing plates are designed as a foundation for a custom brake cooling setup. Connect a 2.5-inch silicone brake hose to the carbon duct and route the hose from an appropriate cool-air inlet to supply the rotor with additional airflow.
The kit includes the backing plates, carbon ducts, spacers, and required stainless hardware.
