Description
The CANchecked TCC01 Thermocouple Converter is a compact Type-K thermocouple amplifier designed to convert the signal from a Type-K thermocouple probe into a clean 0–5V analog output.
The TCC01 allows exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and other high-temperature measurements to be monitored through any compatible ECU or data display equipped with a standard 0–5V analog input. It is also designed for direct integration with compatible CANchecked multifunction displays.
The TCC01 features internal cold junction compensation and provides a linear measurement range from 0 to 1250°C, with a resolution of 4 mV per °C and a maximum accuracy of 2% deviation.
Its compact enclosure includes a mounting tab for an M6 screw or cable tie, while multiple TCC01 modules can be mounted side by side for applications requiring multiple temperature channels, such as twin-scroll turbo systems and multi-cylinder EGT monitoring.

Calibration
The TCC01 uses a linear 0–5V output calibration:
- 0V: 0°C / 32°F
- 5V: 1250°C / 2282°F
This calibrated output allows the TCC01 to be connected to compatible analog inputs on CANchecked displays and aftermarket ECUs.
Thermocouple Compatibility
The TCC01 is designed for Type-K thermocouple probes and supports standard mini thermocouple connectors.

CANchecked Integration

The converter can also be used with other compatible analog-input devices when configured for the TCC01's 0–5V output calibration.
Installation & Mounting
The TCC01 includes a mounting tab that allows the module to be secured using an M6 screw or cable tie.
Multiple TCC01 converters can be mounted side by side when multiple Type-K temperature channels are required. This makes the system suitable for applications such as twin-scroll turbochargers, multi-cylinder EGT monitoring, and motorsport data acquisition.
The Type-K thermocouple connects through the standard mini thermocouple connector, while the converter's analog output is provided through the DTM connector.
For best results, professional installation and correct thermocouple polarity and wiring are recommended.
