Description
The CANchecked BMU04 Brake Temperature Monitoring Set is a wireless brake temperature monitoring solution designed for high-performance vehicles, track cars, racing applications, and performance testing. The system uses advanced infrared temperature sensors to provide real-time brake temperature data without requiring wired connections to each sensor.
The complete CANchecked BMU04 set includes four BMU01 infrared temperature sensors, with one sensor designed for each corner of the vehicle, along with a CAN Bus WiFi receiver box. Each sensor features eight configurable temperature measurement channels and an adjustable refresh rate of up to 50Hz, allowing detailed and responsive temperature monitoring during demanding driving conditions.
Each wireless sensor features a rechargeable 250mAh battery that can provide up to 15 hours of active track use per charge. The infrared sensors measure temperatures from -40°C to +1200°C, with a wide field of view designed to provide comprehensive brake disc temperature coverage.
The sensors feature compact, rugged aluminum/polyamide housings with an IP65 rating, making them suitable for demanding motorsport and performance environments. The optional charging and storage box can simultaneously charge all four sensors while providing dedicated storage for the CAN Bus receiver.
