Designed for BMW 3.0L Turbo N54 and N55 engines, this 225mm twin-disc clutch system combines high-friction ceramic puck-style friction plates with an ultra-durable Mono-Drive sprung hub assembly to deliver strong torque transfer while helping reduce driveline shock and torsional vibration.

With a rated torque capacity of 1,270 ft-lbs., this ACT Mod-Twin clutch provides a 314% increase over OE capacity, making it an ideal choice for heavily modified and high-output BMW builds. The Xtreme pressure plate provides increased clamping force while maintaining a relatively light pedal feel through ACT's specially heat-treated diaphragm spring.

The sprung Mono-Drive hub helps extend transmission input shaft life and absorbs torsional vibrations during operation. This makes the sprung configuration particularly well suited to applications where aggressive performance is desired without the harsher driveline characteristics associated with a fully rigid race clutch.

The Mod-Twin design uses two friction surfaces to provide high torque capacity while maintaining a compact 225mm clutch diameter. Puck-style ceramic friction materials provide a high coefficient of friction, excellent heat capacity, and long service life under demanding conditions.

The kit includes a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel, pressure plate cover, diaphragm spring, face, puck-style ceramic friction plates, sprung Mono-Drive hub assembly, floater, patented Monoloc Collar, release bearing, alignment tool, and pilot bearing when required.

ACT Mod-Twin clutches are fully rebuildable, and most individual components can be ordered separately, providing a serviceable solution for high-performance and racing applications.
