Description
The Verus Engineering Ventus 1 Package for the Mk5 Toyota Supra is an entry-level aerodynamic upgrade designed to improve downforce, aerodynamic efficiency, high-speed stability, and overall driving performance while maintaining a clean, OEM-plus appearance.
The Toyota Supra already comes equipped with sophisticated factory aerodynamic equipment, but the Ventus 1 Package provides an effective starting point for enthusiasts looking to take the performance of their A90/A91 Supra further. The package combines Dual-Element Dive Planes, a functional Rear Diffuser, and Anti-Buffeting Wind Deflectors to deliver both aerodynamic performance and improved driving comfort.
The Dual-Element Dive Planes increase front-end downforce while helping evacuate airflow from the front fender area. This improves front-end grip and contributes to a safer and more predictable aerodynamic balance.
The Rear Diffuser complements the additional front-end downforce by reducing lift and drag at the rear of the vehicle. By improving airflow underneath the Supra, the diffuser helps increase tire grip at speed, improve straight-line and cornering performance, and reduce lap times.
The Anti-Buffeting Wind Deflectors provide an additional functional benefit for the Mk5 Supra. They help reduce the unpleasant buffeting effect that can occur when driving with the windows open, making them a useful addition for both street driving and track use.
The dive planes and wind deflectors are manufactured from 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon fiber, autoclave cured, and finished with an automotive high-gloss clear coat. The rear diffuser is manufactured from 5052 aluminum sheet metal, CNC laser cut, press brake bent, and powder coated black for long-term durability and an OEM-plus fit and finish.
All components were developed using in-house vehicle scan data, CAD, and CFD analysis. This development process provides an OEM-like fit and finish while ensuring each component functions as intended from an aerodynamic standpoint.
The Verus Engineering Ventus 1 Package is an excellent first step for Mk5 Toyota Supra owners looking to improve both the function and appearance of their A90/A91 build without adopting an overly aggressive aerodynamic setup.

Aerodynamic Performance
The Verus Engineering Ventus 1 Package was developed for performance enthusiasts who want to introduce functional aerodynamic improvements to their Mk5 Toyota Supra while maintaining a relatively subtle OEM-plus appearance.
The Dual-Element Dive Planes add front-end downforce while improving airflow evacuation around the front fenders. The additional front-end aerodynamic load is balanced by the Rear Diffuser, which helps reduce rear lift and drag while improving airflow beneath the vehicle.
This combination creates a safe and effective improvement in aerodynamic efficiency, helping provide greater stability and grip at speed. The result is a more confident driving experience, improved cornering performance, and the potential for reduced lap times.
Verus Engineering uses OpenFOAM for its CFD analysis. To ensure accuracy and repeatability, its CFD methodology has been validated through multiple forms of testing both on and off the track. Vehicle models are developed using scans of actual development vehicles and reverse-engineered for accurate aerodynamic analysis.
The Ventus 1 Package provides an effective foundation for further aerodynamic and chassis tuning while preserving the distinctive design language of the Mk5 Toyota Supra.
