Description
The Verus Engineering Ventus 1 Package is an entry-level aerodynamic upgrade designed specifically for the Porsche 718 GT4. Developed to increase downforce, improve aerodynamic efficiency, and enhance track performance, this package provides a predictable performance upgrade while maintaining an OEM-plus appearance that complements the factory body lines.
The Porsche 718 GT4 already features sophisticated factory aerodynamics, but Verus Engineering developed the Ventus 1 Package for enthusiasts looking to extract additional performance from the platform. The package combines Dual Element Dive Planes with Rear Diffuser Panels to improve aerodynamic performance at both ends of the vehicle while keeping the overall increase in drag low.
The Dual Element Dive Planes increase front-end downforce while helping evacuate airflow from the front fender areas. This improves front-end grip and contributes to a more balanced aerodynamic setup.
At the rear, the Rear Diffuser Panels are designed to manage the airflow and horseshoe vortices generated around the rear wheels, particularly when replacing the large factory muffler with an aftermarket exhaust system. The panels fill the resulting gaps and help ensure that the factory center diffuser receives cleaner, more controlled airflow.
The dive planes are manufactured from 2x2 twill carbon fiber and install using 3M adhesive tape. The rear diffuser panels are CFD optimized and manufactured from 5052 aluminum sheet metal, CNC laser cut, and press brake bent to achieve a precise OEM-plus fit and finish.
Every component was developed using in-house scan data, CAD, and CFD analysis, ensuring accurate fitment and aerodynamic performance designed specifically for the Porsche 718 GT4.

Science & Aerodynamic Performance
The Verus Engineering Ventus 1 Package was developed for Porsche 718 GT4 owners who want to improve aerodynamic performance without dramatically changing the vehicle's appearance or increasing drag.
The Dual Element Dive Planes generate additional front-end downforce while helping evacuate airflow from the front fenders. At the rear, the diffuser panels help control airflow around the rear wheel area and fill gaps created when the factory exhaust system is replaced with an aftermarket solution.
By combining these components, Verus Engineering created a balanced aerodynamic system that improves overall efficiency while maintaining predictable handling characteristics. The result is additional performance, increased driver confidence, and the potential for lower lap times.
CFD analysis and real-world testing were used throughout development. The strong correlation between the simulated and physical test results helped validate the aerodynamic approach and overall performance of the Ventus 1 Package.
