Description
The Verus Engineering Ventus 2 Package for the Mk5 Toyota Supra is a complete aerodynamic upgrade designed to increase downforce, improve aerodynamic efficiency, enhance cornering performance, and increase driver confidence without relying on a rear wing.
Building upon the Ventus 1 Package, the Ventus 2 adds a front splitter and carbon polyweave side splitters to create a more comprehensive and forward-biased aerodynamic setup. The package combines front and rear aerodynamic components to deliver increased downforce while maintaining a relatively small drag penalty.
The front splitter is designed to generate substantial front-end downforce by creating a pressure difference between its upper and lower surfaces. When combined with the included dual-element dive planes, it significantly increases front-end grip and helps improve aerodynamic balance.
The carbon polyweave side splitters work with the factory side-splitter design to reduce the amount of high-pressure air flowing underneath the vehicle. Since high-pressure air beneath the chassis contributes to lift, reducing this airflow helps decrease chassis lift and increase overall downforce, particularly when the vehicle is in yaw or cornering.
The Ventus 2 Package also includes a rear diffuser, dual-element dive planes, rear spats, and anti-buffeting wind deflectors to create a cohesive aerodynamic system. Together, these components are engineered to improve the Supra's aerodynamic efficiency, increase cornering performance, and reduce lap times.
All components were developed using in-house vehicle scan data, CAD, and CFD analysis to provide an OEM-like fit, finish, and aerodynamic function.
