Description
The Verus Engineering UCW Rear Wing Kit is a high-performance aerodynamic upgrade designed to significantly increase rear-end downforce on the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R. Developed for track-focused drivers, the UCW Rear Wing increases high-speed rear grip, improves driver confidence, and can help reduce lap times and increase cornering speeds.
The UCW Rear Wing is engineered to mount directly to the factory GT350R trunk using the existing factory mounting holes, providing a strong and straightforward installation while maintaining a near-OEM fit and finish. The wing was developed using in-house vehicle scan data to ensure precise fitment and proper integration with the S550 Mustang chassis.
The airfoil was optimized using advanced aerodynamic analysis, with the wing profile derived from the Verus Engineering V1X platform. CFD analysis was then used to ensure the wing receives adequate airflow when installed on the vehicle and delivers effective aerodynamic performance.
With the ability to operate across a 0 to 15-degree angle of attack range, the UCW Rear Wing provides adjustable rear downforce to help balance a variety of front aerodynamic packages. The wing is capable of generating and withstanding 500+ lbs of downforce, making it an ideal choice for serious track builds requiring a substantial increase in rear aerodynamic load.
Note: The kit is designed for the GT350R. It will also work with the S550 Ford Mustang chassis but requires additional modification and a different trunk bracket.
