Description
The Verus Engineering Transmission Tunnel Cover is designed to smooth airflow through a turbulent section of the vehicle's underbody surrounding the transmission. By covering this otherwise open area, the system helps reduce underbody turbulence, lower aerodynamic drag, and provide cleaner airflow toward the rear diffuser.
The Transmission Tunnel Cover can also contribute to increased downforce on vehicles with rake, as the flat underbody surface can begin functioning as part of the vehicle's diffuser system. The result is a more efficient underbody airflow path designed for both street and track-focused applications.
Verus Engineering developed the cover using OEM CAD data, resulting in a near-OEM fit and finish while maintaining a modular design that accommodates different exhaust systems, resonators, and vehicle configurations.

Aerodynamic Science
The Verus Engineering Transmission Tunnel Cover reduces turbulence through an otherwise open section of the vehicle's underbody. According to Verus Engineering testing, the cover can reduce the vehicle's coefficient of drag (cD) by approximately 0.008, equivalent to 8 drag points.
When the vehicle has rake, the flat transmission tunnel surface can also begin functioning as part of the diffuser, potentially increasing rear downforce by improving the underbody's aerodynamic behavior.
The Transmission Tunnel Cover can also be added to Verus Engineering Ventus aerodynamic packages to further improve overall underbody airflow and aerodynamic performance.
Installation
The Transmission Tunnel Cover uses a simple, non-invasive bolt-on installation. The modular front and rear sections allow the system to accommodate different exhaust and resonator configurations. Rivet nuts, the rivet nut installer, and required hardware are included.
