Description
The Verus Engineering Street Side Splitter Kit for the Subaru WRX/STI VA combines functional aerodynamic performance with a clean, street-oriented appearance. Aerodynamic Science
The Verus Engineering Ventus 1 aerodynamic package was developed to reduce overall lift while also reducing drag on the VA Subaru WRX. By improving both lift and drag characteristics, the package increases the vehicle's overall aerodynamic efficiency.
Within the package, the aerodynamic components work together to create a balanced airflow environment. The diffuser helps generate vortices that keep airflow attached to the diffuser surface, while also creating a low-pressure zone toward the rear of the vehicle.
The front splitter similarly creates a low-pressure region at the front of the vehicle. Together, these aerodynamic effects create a well-proportioned aerodynamic balance between the front and rear of the car.
