Description
The Verus Engineering Rear Suspension Cover Kit is designed to improve underbody airflow and maximize the effectiveness of the rear diffuser on the Subaru WRX/STI VA. These suspension covers close a large open area in the vehicle's underbody between the fuel tank and the Verus Engineering Rear Diffuser, helping deliver cleaner, more uninterrupted airflow to the diffuser.
By reducing turbulence and improving the quality of airflow reaching the rear diffuser, the suspension covers can help increase aerodynamic efficiency, reduce drag, and contribute to increased rear downforce.
Verus Engineering developed the covers using state-of-the-art aerodynamic analysis software and in-house vehicle scan data. This allowed the design to maximize aerodynamic performance within the available packaging space while maintaining a near-OEM fit and finish.

Aerodynamic Science
The Verus Engineering Rear Suspension Cover Kit is designed to complement the Ventus 1 aerodynamic package by improving the efficiency of the rear diffuser and reducing drag.
By closing a large void in the underbody, the covers help reduce turbulence and provide the rear diffuser with cleaner, more consistent airflow. According to Verus Engineering testing, the suspension covers improve the vehicle's coefficient of drag (Cd) by 0.011, equivalent to an 11-point reduction in drag.
The result is improved aerodynamic efficiency while allowing the rear diffuser to operate more effectively.
Installation
The Rear Suspension Cover Kit uses a simple, non-invasive bolt-on installation. The kit includes the left- and right-hand suspension covers, mounting brackets, and all necessary hardware for installation.
For maximum aerodynamic benefit, the covers are designed to work with the Verus Engineering Rear Diffuser.
