SCIENCE & AERODYNAMIC PERFORMANCE
The Verus Engineering Rear Diffuser was designed to improve the aerodynamic performance of the C8 Corvette Stingray by controlling airflow beneath the vehicle.
A properly designed rear diffuser allows the airflow underneath the vehicle to expand as it exits toward the rear. This expansion helps create a low-pressure region beneath the car, increasing the pressure difference between the underside and upper body surfaces and generating additional downforce.
The diffuser also helps manage the wake behind the vehicle. By reducing the size and intensity of the wake, aerodynamic drag can be reduced, improving the vehicle's overall lift-to-drag efficiency.
