Description
The Verus Engineering Hood Louver Kit for the Ford Fiesta ST (MK7) is designed to reduce underhood heat and pressure by improving airflow out of the engine bay. By allowing hot air and high-pressure air to escape through strategically positioned hood louvers, the system helps improve airflow through the radiator and charge air cooler, increasing overall cooling stack efficiency.
Reducing pressure buildup beneath the hood also helps reduce front-end aerodynamic lift, providing a slight increase in front-end downforce and improving the vehicle's aerodynamic balance.
During development, Verus Engineering specifically designed the kit around the OEM Fiesta ST hood. The louver placement and installation approach are intended to retain most of the factory hood's structural rigidity while helping the hood maintain its shape over years of use.
This kit is designed for Fiesta ST owners looking for a purpose-built and tested hood louver solution that addresses both engine bay temperature and underhood pressure generated by the turbocharged engine.

Aerodynamic & Cooling Benefits
The Hood Louver Kit addresses two important areas of performance: engine bay cooling and aerodynamic pressure management.
When a vehicle is moving, air entering the front of the vehicle passes through the radiator and charge air cooler before entering the engine bay. Without an effective exit path, pressure and heat can accumulate beneath the hood. The Verus Engineering louvers provide a controlled exit path for this air, helping improve the efficiency of the cooling stack.
Lowering pressure beneath the hood also reduces the pressure acting on the underside of the hood. This helps reduce front-end lift and provides a slight increase in front-end downforce, benefiting the vehicle's aerodynamic balance.
Installation & Maintenance
The kit includes dedicated cut/drill templates to assist with accurately positioning the hood louvers during installation.
The stainless steel flush clinch studs and serrated nuts allow the louvers to be removed when necessary. This provides easier access for cleaning and allows the rain guards and wickers to be removed or installed depending on driving and weather conditions.
The kit is designed around the OEM hood to retain most of the factory hood's structural rigidity while providing the necessary airflow improvements.
