Description
The Verus Engineering Dual Element Dive Plane Kit is designed specifically for the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C8) to improve front-end aerodynamic performance, increase front grip, and help fine-tune the vehicle's overall aero balance.
Also commonly known as canards, dive planes work by controlling airflow around the front of the vehicle. The Verus Engineering design helps extract airflow from the wheel wells while generating additional front-end downforce. This allows the aerodynamic balance to be shifted forward, making the kit particularly useful when paired with a larger rear wing or rear diffuser.
Developed using in-house CAD scan data and CFD analysis, the dive planes are optimized to provide meaningful aerodynamic improvements while keeping additional drag to a minimum. The design also provides a balanced aerodynamic setup with or without the Verus Engineering Carbon Rear Diffuser.
The dive planes are manufactured from 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon fiber, autoclave cured and finished with a polished high-gloss surface. Installation is simple and non-invasive, using the included 3M VHB double-sided tape and precision-fit installation templates for an OEM-plus appearance without drilling or permanent modifications.
Whether your C8 Corvette is primarily street-driven or regularly sees track use, the Dual Element Dive Plane Kit provides an effective way to improve front-end grip and fine-tune the aerodynamic balance of the vehicle.

Science & Aerodynamic Performance
Dive planes are small aerodynamic components that can have a meaningful effect on a vehicle's overall aerodynamic balance. The Verus Engineering Dual Element Dive Plane Kit works by controlling airflow around the front of the Corvette Stingray.
The dive planes help create a beneficial vortex that assists in evacuating air from the front fender areas. This reduces aerodynamic lift while adding a modest amount of additional front-end downforce.
One of the primary advantages of the system is its ability to shift aerodynamic balance forward without requiring a significantly larger front splitter. This makes it a practical solution for street-driven vehicles while still providing useful performance benefits on the track.
The kit can also be used to fine-tune the aerodynamic balance of the Corvette when combined with larger rear aerodynamic components. Verus Engineering designed the Dual Element Dive Plane Kit to work effectively across its Ventus aerodynamic packages for the C8 Corvette Stingray.
