The Verus Engineering Dive Plane (Canard) Kit for the Toyota GR Corolla is designed to increase front-end downforce without requiring the front splitter to be moved farther forward. Verus Engineering developed these dive planes to create a strong aerodynamic vortex that helps reduce lift in the front wheel well while also generating downforce directly on the dive plane.

Using state-of-the-art Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) during the R&D process, Verus Engineering optimized the design to extract additional aerodynamic performance from the available build volume. The result is increased downforce generation and improved front-end aerodynamic performance.

The dive plane kit is designed for Toyota GR Corolla owners looking to shift the vehicle's aerodynamic balance forward. This makes the kit particularly useful for balancing a larger rear wing or rear diffuser and creating a more predictable aerodynamic setup at speed.

Properly designed dive planes can increase front-end grip and cornering speed by improving front-end downforce while reducing lift in other areas of the vehicle.

Verus Engineering utilized CFD software during development to improve the aerodynamic performance of the dive plane kit. This development process allowed Verus Engineering to extract more performance from the available build volume on the Toyota GR Corolla.

The dive planes are part of the Verus Engineering Ventus 1 package for the Toyota GR Corolla. The Ventus 1 package is designed to slightly increase overall downforce without introducing a large increase in drag.

Verus Engineering developed the Ventus 1 package to provide a safe and predictable aerodynamic balance at speed, improving handling and driver confidence during high-speed driving. The package helps the Toyota GR Corolla make better use of its tires on the track while also providing increased confidence during street driving.

The Ventus 1 package is primarily geared toward track-focused applications but can also be utilized on a daily-driven Toyota GR Corolla.
