The Verus Engineering Carbon Polyweave Side Splitter Kit is designed to enhance the aerodynamic performance and appearance of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C8). Developed to complement the factory side-splitter, these side splitters help control airflow underneath the vehicle by reducing the amount of high-pressure air that reaches the underbody.
High-pressure air underneath the vehicle can contribute to aerodynamic lift, particularly when the vehicle is in yaw or cornering. By limiting this airflow, the Verus Engineering side splitters help reduce lift and improve overall aerodynamic stability, giving the Corvette greater confidence during spirited driving and track use.
Constructed from Carbon Polyweave, a durable carbon-fiber-reinforced thermoplastic, these side splitters combine the appearance and strength associated with carbon fiber with improved impact resistance. Each side splitter is cut in-house at the Verus Engineering facility in Indianapolis, USA, allowing for precise manufacturing and consistent quality.
