The RaceQuip 121 Series Multi-Layer Fire Suit Jacket is a high-performance SFI-5 certified racing jacket designed for drivers who require maximum protection, durability, and comfort under demanding motorsport conditions. Built with advanced fire-retardant materials, this jacket delivers reliable thermal resistance while maintaining flexibility and breathability.
This multi-layer construction consists of a durable Pyrovatex® FRC outer layer, a Nomex® middle insulating layer, and a soft Pyrovatex® FRC inner lining. The Pyrovatex® fabric is engineered to maintain the softness and breathability of cotton while providing strong flame and heat resistance. It also wicks moisture away from the skin to improve comfort during long racing sessions. The chemical bonding process used in the Pyrovatex® treatment ensures long-lasting fire-retardant performance when properly maintained.
The middle layer is made of Nomex® aramid material, which is inherently fire-resistant and provides an additional thermal barrier for enhanced protection. All seams are constructed using heavy-duty multi-needle over-lock safety stitching to ensure maximum seam strength and durability under racing stress.
This jacket features a TPP rating of 25, offering high-level thermal protection performance.
