Designed for drivers who require enhanced ventilation, the RaceQuip PRO20 Side Air helmet includes a left-side forced air inlet system compatible with standard 1.250-inch hoses. This setup allows air to flow efficiently across the face shield from left to right, improving driver cooling while reducing fog buildup during intense racing conditions. This type of helmet is commonly referred to as a forced air, blower, or pumper helmet due to its integrated air supply capability.
Safety is a top priority with the RaceQuip PRO20 series. This helmet is Snell SA2020 certified, meaning it meets stringent motorsport safety standards and is widely accepted by racing organizations through 2030. The interior features a fire-retardant Nomex lining, paired with a Kevlar chin strap and fire-resistant paint for added protection. An EPS liner enhances impact absorption, while pre-installed M6 threaded inserts allow for easy installation of HANS or other head and neck restraint anchor posts (sold separately).
The 3mm distortion-free polycarbonate face shield ensures clear visibility and includes a red anodized aluminum pivot kit, adjustable friction lock, and ratcheting tear-off posts with eight positions. A silicone eye port seal helps keep out dust and debris, while the wide eye port design improves peripheral vision and accommodates eyewear comfortably.
