Description
The RaceQuip PRO20 SA2020 Full Face Racing Helmet in Gloss Steel (2XL) combines modern design, advanced materials, and professional-grade safety for serious motorsports enthusiasts. Built by RaceQuip and certified to Snell SA2020 standards, this helmet is suitable for a wide range of racing applications and is typically accepted by sanctioning bodies through 2030.
The FRP composite shell is crafted from pre-preg materials formed in pressurized steel molds, offering an ideal balance of lightweight performance and structural strength. Inside, an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner enhances impact absorption, while the comfort-fit blended Nomex® interior provides fire resistance and a secure fit for extended track sessions.
Reinforced M6 threaded inserts allow easy installation of HANS or other Head and Neck Restraint (HNR) devices (anchors not included). The 3mm distortion-free polycarbonate low-fog faceshield features a red anodized aluminum pivot kit, adjustable friction lock, and hand-ratcheting tear-off posts. A silicone eyeport gasket keeps out dust and debris, and a wide eyeport ensures excellent peripheral vision while accommodating personal eyewear.
The aerodynamic FRP composite shell features a medium chin spoiler for stability at high speeds, while top and rear exhaust vents improve airflow and cooling. The Kevlar® chin strap, combined with fire-retardant interior and paint, ensures maximum safety.
