Description
The RaceQuip PRO20 Side Air SA2020 Full Face Racing Helmet in Gloss White (XL) is a professional-grade forced air motorsports helmet designed for drivers who require advanced cooling and anti-fog performance. Built to Snell SA2020 certification standards, this helmet is widely accepted in racing organizations and tracks through 2030, subject to sanctioning approval.
This PRO20 Side Air model features a composite FRP shell constructed using precision molding techniques to achieve an optimal balance of lightweight performance and high structural strength. An expanded polystyrene (EPS) impact liner is integrated into the shell for energy absorption, while the comfort-fit blended Nomex® interior provides fire-retardant protection and all-day comfort.
The side air system is designed to accept a standard 1.250" hose, routing forced air through a left-side inlet and across the face shield from left to right. This improves cooling and helps reduce visor fogging during intense racing conditions.
The helmet includes a 3mm distortion-free polycarbonate face shield with a red anodized aluminum pivot kit, hand-ratcheting tear-off posts, and a silicone eyeport gasket to seal out dust and debris. A wide eyeport enhances visibility and accommodates eyewear use. Reinforced M6 threaded inserts allow compatibility with HANS / FHR head and neck restraint systems.
Additional features include a Kevlar® chin strap, fire-retardant paint and interior materials, and an aerodynamic shell design with an integrated chin spoiler for improved stability at speed.
