With completely overhauled ECU calibrations introduced in January 2025, Jackal Motorsports delivers improved power, smoother drivability, sharper throttle response, and faster, crisper transmission shifts.
Jackal Motorsports offers Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 2+ tuning solutions for the 3.0TFSI platform, along with full custom tuning support. Water Methanol Injection (WMI) options are available for each stage, while E40 tuning is available for compatible dual-pulley setups to further maximize performance.
The latest Jackal calibrations are designed to improve the entire driving experience, from everyday street driving to spirited driving and track use. Auto Start/Stop is also disabled through the tune on vehicles equipped with the system.
Performance Gains
Jackal Motorsports tuning provides substantial wheel horsepower and torque gains:
- Stage 1: +86 WHP / +64 ft-lbs
- Stage 2: +130 WHP / +126 ft-lbs
- Stage 2+: +165 WHP / +150 ft-lbs
- Stage 2+ E40: +185 WHP / +193 ft-lbs

Free Stage Swapping
Once you purchase a Jackal Motorsports tune and cable, you can freely switch between the factory calibration and any available tuning stage at no additional charge. This gives you the flexibility to upgrade your setup over time without having to purchase another tune.
TCU tuning is included with the tune package for both C6 and C7 applications.
Jackal ZF8 Transmission Tune
The Jackal ZF8 transmission calibration is designed to improve shift speed, responsiveness, and overall driving behavior.

For C6 applications, a ZF6 transmission tune is included with purchase and provides transmission improvements across the board.
Upgraded Throttle Body Support
Jackal Motorsports offers upgraded throttle body maps that can be paired with the Jackal Motorsports TB Adapter Harness. The harness eliminates the need for repinning, allowing you to install the harness, flash the appropriate calibration, and get the vehicle running.
Vehicles equipped with a 034Motorsport throttle body require the Jackal TB harness, which can be selected during checkout. IE and APR throttle body users do not require repinning or an additional harness.
Recommended Modifications
Stage 1
An aftermarket intake or high-flow drop-in filter is strongly recommended. An upgraded heat exchanger is also recommended.
Stage 2
An aftermarket air intake is required. A single-pulley setup is recommended, with a 187-192mm crank pulley or 57mm supercharger pulley. An upgraded heat exchanger is strongly recommended or required.
Stage 2+
Stage 2+ requires an aftermarket air intake and upgraded heat exchanger. Compatible dual-pulley combinations include 187/57, 190/57, 192/57, or a single 207mm pulley.
A cat-back exhaust is recommended, while an upgraded HPFP is recommended. A CWA100 coolant pump and test pipes are also recommended.
Stage 2+ E40
Stage 2+ E40 requires all Stage 2+ modifications, an upgraded HPFP, and an ethanol mixture of approximately 40%. An ethanol content gauge is strongly recommended.
Recommended Spark Plugs
Jackal Motorsports recommends NGK BKR8EIX spark plugs gapped to 0.026" for all staged files.
Water Methanol Injection and E40 Support
Jackal Motorsports offers WMI tuning options for each available stage. E40 tuning is available for dual-pulley configurations, allowing compatible vehicles to take advantage of higher ethanol content for additional performance.
Throttle Response and Drivability
Jackal Motorsports calibrations are designed around more than peak dyno numbers. The updated ECU and transmission software focuses on smoother acceleration, improved throttle response, faster shifts, and stronger overall drivability.
The result is a more responsive 3.0TFSI that can be used for daily driving while still providing the performance required for spirited street driving and track use.
