Jackal Motorsports is dedicated to taking the CREC platform farther than conventional tuning solutions. The calibration is designed around the unique characteristics of the CREC engine and supercharger system, with advanced support for upgraded pulley combinations, intake systems, fueling upgrades, ethanol blends, and custom configurations.

CREC-Specific Supercharger Clutch Calibration
Jackal Motorsports CREC tuning includes the supercharger clutch fully locked. This eliminates the repeated engaging and disengaging of the supercharger clutch, helping prevent clutch slip and failures that can occur when upgraded pulley ratios are installed.
Jackal Motorsports has observed no difference in fuel economy with the locked supercharger clutch calibration.
Performance Gains
Jackal Motorsports offers multiple tuning stages for the CREC 3.0T platform, including pump-gas and E85 configurations.
The original dyno figures below were recorded using only a 57mm bolt-on supercharger pulley and an intake. Lower crank pulley and dual-pulley combinations can produce additional power. Updated figures are being developed for the various stages, including Stage 2+ E85.
- Stage 1: +89 WHP / +56 ft-lbs
- Stage 1 E85: +127 WHP / +67 ft-lbs
- Stage 2: +113 WHP / +65 ft-lbs with 57mm supercharger pulley only
- Stage 2 E85: +140 WHP / +89 ft-lbs with 57mm supercharger pulley only
- Stage 2+: +145 WHP / +100 ft-lbs
- Stage 2+ E85: Coming soon; Jackal-equipped vehicles have achieved 10-second quarter-mile times at full weight

- Aftermarket intake or drop-in filter strongly recommended
Stage 2
- 57mm bolt-on supercharger pulley recommended, or 187mm crank pulley
- Aftermarket air intake required
- Heat exchanger required
Stage 2+
- Dual-pulley configuration such as 187/57, 190/57, 192/57, or single 207mm
- Aftermarket air intake required

- Cat-back exhaust recommended
- CWA100 coolant pump strongly recommended
- Test pipes recommended
E85 Fueling Requirements
Stage 1 E85 and Stage 2 E85 tuning are available and require an MPI line and NGK BKR9EIX spark plugs.
Stage 2+ E85 tuning requires an MPI line, El Doc Dual LPFP, and Jackal Motorsports MPI injectors.
Jackal Motorsports recommends NGK BKR9EIX spark plugs gapped to 0.026 inches for all staged CREC files, especially E85 applications.
Jackal Motorsports ZF8 TCU Tune
Every Jackal Motorsports tune package includes TCU tuning, providing comprehensive calibration for the ZF8 automatic transmission.

Auto Start/Stop Deactivation
Auto Start/Stop is disabled in Jackal Motorsports tuning on vehicles equipped with the factory system.
Upgraded Throttle Body Support
Jackal Motorsports offers upgraded throttle body maps for the CREC platform. These maps can be paired with the Jackal Motorsports TB Adapter Harness, eliminating the need for repinning.
For 034 throttle bodies, the Jackal Motorsports TB harness is required and is available as an option during checkout.
Vehicles equipped with IE or APR throttle bodies do not require repinning or an additional harness.
Free Stage Switching
With Jackal Motorsports, once you purchase a tune and Jackal tuning cable, you can switch between stock and staged calibrations at no additional charge. This provides the flexibility to change your vehicle's calibration as your modifications and fuel requirements evolve.
Jackal Motorsports does not charge additional fees for switching between available stages or returning the vehicle to its stock calibration.
