Featuring completely updated ECU and DSG calibrations as of January 2025, Jackal Motorsports delivers improved drivability, increased power, faster and crisper transmission shifts, rolling AMAX functionality, and throttle-based selective launch control.
Jackal Motorsports offers Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 2+, and Stage 2+ E40 calibrations, along with full custom tuning support. The tune package includes ECU and TCU/DSG tuning, giving you a complete powertrain calibration rather than requiring separate transmission tuning.
One of the major advantages of the Jackal Motorsports platform is free stage swapping. Once you purchase a Jackal tune and cable, you can switch between the stock calibration and available performance stages at no additional charge. This allows you to change your vehicle's calibration as your modifications evolve without repeatedly paying for new software.
Jackal Motorsports also offers Water Methanol Injection (WMI) calibration options for the available stages, as well as E40 tuning for dual-pulley setups, allowing enthusiasts to take advantage of additional fueling and cooling potential.
For vehicles equipped with an upgraded throttle body, Jackal Motorsports offers dedicated throttle body maps. Vehicles using a 034Motorsport throttle body require the Jackal TB Adapter Harness, while IE and APR throttle bodies do not require repinning or an additional harness.

- Stage 2: +130 WHP / +126 ft-lb

The Low Launch settings are primarily suited to dual-pulley and E40 vehicles, while the High Launch settings are primarily suited to Stage 1 and Stage 2 vehicles.
Recommended Modifications by Stage
Stage 1
An aftermarket intake or high-flow drop-in filter is strongly recommended. An upgraded heat exchanger is also recommended.
Stage 2
A single-pulley setup is recommended, with a 187-192mm crank pulley or a 57mm supercharger pulley. An aftermarket intake is required, while an upgraded heat exchanger is strongly recommended/required.
Stage 2+
A dual-pulley setup is required. Compatible combinations include 187/57mm, 190/57mm, 192/57mm, or a single 207mm pulley. An aftermarket intake and upgraded heat exchanger are required.
A cat-back exhaust is recommended. An HPFP upgrade is recommended, while a CWA100 coolant pump and test pipes are also recommended.
Stage 2+ E40
Requires all Stage 2+ modifications plus an HPFP upgrade and a fuel mixture containing approximately 40-45% ethanol. An ethanol content gauge is strongly recommended for monitoring fuel composition.
Recommended Spark Plugs
Jackal Motorsports recommends NGK BKR8EIX spark plugs gapped to 0.026 inches for all staged files on this platform.
Throttle Body Compatibility
Jackal Motorsports offers upgraded throttle body calibration maps for the 3.0 TFSI platform.
034Motorsport Throttle Body: Requires the Jackal Motorsports TB Adapter Harness. No repinning is required when using the appropriate harness.
IE Throttle Body: No repinning or additional Jackal TB harness required.
APR Throttle Body: No repinning or additional Jackal TB harness required.
Flashing and Tuning Options
Jackal Motorsports supports both in-house flashing and remote flashing using the Jackal Tuning Cable. Full custom tuning support is also available for the B8/B8.5 Audi S4/S5 3.0 TFSI platform.
The Jackal system allows customers to switch between stock and purchased performance stages without additional stage-switching charges, giving you the flexibility to adapt the calibration as your vehicle evolves.
