Description
The CANchecked MFD15 Multi Function Universal Display – 1.5" Gen2 is a compact, highly configurable digital gauge designed for enthusiasts, tuners, street vehicles, race cars, and performance builds.
Manufactured in Germany, the MFD15 Gen2 combines a 1.5-inch OLED display with CAN Bus and OBD2 communication, providing access to real-time engine and vehicle data in a compact 52 mm gauge format.
The display can monitor parameters such as boost pressure, temperatures, pressures, ethanol content, ECU data, and other available vehicle information. Its six analog inputs also allow compatible external sensors to be integrated for expanded monitoring capability.
Built-in Wi-Fi allows users to configure the display, customize layouts, manage data, perform software updates, and access supported online functions. The MFD15 Gen2 also supports configurable alarms, warning functions, performance monitoring, and shift-light functionality.
With an approximate 12.5 mm installation depth, the compact housing is suitable for custom gauge pods, dashboards, vents, interiors, and other 52 mm mounting solutions.

CAN Bus & OBD2 Integration
The MFD15 Gen2 supports both CAN Bus communication and OBD2-based data integration.
Depending on the vehicle and ECU configuration, the display can access a wide range of ECU and vehicle parameters. The system can monitor ECU broadcast data as well as information provided by compatible external sensors connected through the analog inputs.
CANchecked also offers dedicated integrations for selected vehicles that can provide access to additional data through the vehicle's internal communication networks.
External Sensor Integration
The MFD15 Gen2 features six analog inputs for connecting compatible external sensors.
This allows the display to be expanded beyond standard CAN Bus and OBD2 data to monitor additional parameters such as temperatures, pressures, boost, ethanol content, and other sensor signals, depending on the sensor and configuration.
Wi-Fi & Configuration
Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity provides wireless access to supported CANchecked configuration and management functions.
Depending on the applicable software and licensing, users can configure display layouts, manage data, perform updates, and access logging or other advanced functions through CANchecked's online interface.
Some online logging and advanced functions may require additional licensing through CANchecked.
Installation
The MFD15 Gen2 uses a standard 52 mm gauge format, allowing it to be installed into compatible gauge openings, pods, dashboards, vents, and custom interior mounting solutions.
The included 6-pin and 12-pin connectors, pre-crimped wires, and additional wiring pins provide the connections required for display and expanded sensor integration.
For best results, professional installation by a qualified technician is recommended.
Vehicle Compatibility & Data Availability
CANchecked products communicate directly with the vehicle through the CAN Bus. CAN Bus became widely available in production vehicles from approximately 2008 onward, but actual compatibility and available data depend on the specific vehicle manufacturer, model, model year, installed control units, ECU, and software version.
Many modern vehicles provide only limited information through standard OBD diagnostics. Selected CANchecked vehicle integrations can access additional information directly from internal vehicle communication networks.
Available functions and parameters may vary between vehicles, including different versions of the same model.
