The CANchecked VW MK8 Golf MFD15 Gen2 Multi Function Display is a compact, vehicle-specific digital display designed for 2020+ Volkswagen Golf MK8 models with left-hand drive.
Manufactured in Germany, the MFD15 Gen2 combines a high-visibility 1.5-inch OLED display with CAN Bus and OBD2 integration, allowing drivers to monitor critical engine and vehicle data in a compact 52 mm gauge-style format.
The display is designed for clean integration into the vehicle using a vehicle-specific LHD bezel, providing an OEM-style installation without requiring modifications to the vehicle. Its OLED screen is designed to remain highly readable, including in direct sunlight.

The MFD15 Gen2 communicates directly with compatible CAN Bus systems and supports OBD2-based vehicle data.
For compatible Volkswagen Group applications, the display can access deeper vehicle data beyond basic standard OBD2 information. CANchecked also supports custom CAN streams for supported configurations.

Wi-Fi & Configuration
The integrated Wi-Fi connection allows the MFD15 Gen2 to connect wirelessly to a smartphone or PC.
Through the CANchecked Web App, users can configure the display, customize layouts, adjust settings, manage supported data functions, and perform supported software and data-management tasks.
External Sensor Support
The MFD15 Gen2 provides up to six analog inputs, allowing compatible external sensors to be connected directly to the display.
Supported configurations can also connect an ethanol sensor directly to the display, enabling ethanol content and temperature monitoring for Flex Fuel applications.
