The Type-AR side rocker panel splitters feature deeper aerodynamic "planes" that help block airflow along the sides of the vehicle and reduce the amount of air flowing underneath the Mustang. Installation Notes
- The factory side rocker panels must be removed for installation.
- The carbon fiber splitters are installed onto the OE rocker panels before reinstalling the rocker panel assembly onto the vehicle.
- Two replacement 1/4 x 1/2-inch rivets are required but are not included.
- A drill and rivet tool are required for installation.
- Lower mounting holes may need to be enlarged for proper fitment.
- Mounting tabs may require modification to achieve the correct fit.
- Minor adjustments may be necessary as part of the normal installation process.
- The underside of the carbon fiber components may exhibit minor cosmetic imperfections, including waves in the weave, small bubbles, or clear-finish blemishes. These areas are not necessarily visible once installed.
