Enhance the front-end appearance of your 2015-2017 Ford Mustang with the Anderson Composites Type-AR Carbon Fiber Front Chin Splitter. Designed specifically for Mustang EcoBoost, GT, and V6 models without the factory Performance Package, this carbon fiber front splitter adds an aggressive, performance-inspired appearance while delivering the premium construction and finish expected from Anderson Composites.
The Type-AR Carbon Fiber Front Chin Splitter is manufactured using a vacuum-infused process with premium 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth. This process helps provide a consistent carbon fiber weave and an optimized carbon-to-resin ratio for excellent stiffness and strength.
The splitter features a marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors that is applied and polished to provide a high-luster finish while helping protect the carbon fiber surface from UV exposure. It is designed to mount using OE hardware, although the factory mounting hardware is not included.
For optimal installation, the front bumper should be removed to provide proper access and alignment. Performance Package-equipped Mustangs require conversion to the OE non-Performance Package belly pan before installation.
