Description
Enhance the rear-end styling of your 2016-2018 Ford Focus RS with the Anderson Composites Type-AR Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser. Designed specifically for the Focus RS, this diffuser adds an aggressive, performance-inspired appearance while delivering the premium carbon fiber construction and finish associated with Anderson Composites.
The Type-AR Rear Diffuser is manufactured using a vacuum-infused process with premium 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth. This construction provides a consistent carbon fiber weave and an optimized carbon-to-resin ratio designed to deliver excellent stiffness and strength.
A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is applied and polished to provide a high-luster finish while helping protect the carbon fiber surface from UV exposure. The diffuser mounts directly to the factory Focus RS rear bumper.
For the best installation results, removal of the rear bumper is recommended. The mounting tab design may differ from the component shown in product photos or from the original OEM part. Additional clips and hardware may be required, and minor modifications or adjustments to the mounting tabs may be necessary during installation.
Important: This diffuser does not accommodate the export-model diffuser-mounted light and does not fit Focus SE or ST models.
