This double-sided carbon fiber construction helps reduce weight while maintaining a rigid and durable structure. A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is applied and polished to produce a high-luster finish while helping protect the carbon fiber surface from UV exposure. The hood is designed to mount using OE hardware, although factory mounting hardware is not included.
The Type-AB hood has an approximate weight of 24.8 lbs. Installation may require minor modifications to the OE windshield washer spray nozzle system and mounting tabs to achieve proper fitment. These adjustments are considered part of the normal installation process for the component.
