The Ram Air Fiberglass Hood is manufactured using a vacuum-infused process with fiberglass cloth, providing a strong and lightweight construction suitable for performance-oriented applications.
The hood features a removable and paintable mesh screen, allowing for customization while supporting the hood's heat-extraction function. It is designed to mount using OE hardware, although the factory hardware is not included.
As with composite body panels, normal preparation is required before painting. The hood should be properly sanded and primed before applying the desired finish. Minor surface blemishes may be present as a result of the manufacturing process and are intended to be addressed during standard sanding and preparation.

Installation & Paint Preparation
- Mounts using OE hardware; factory hardware is not included.
- Normal pre-paint preparation is required, including sanding and primer.
- Occasional minor surface blemishes may be present due to the manufacturing process and should be addressed during normal preparation.
- Do not apply excessive pressure when sanding the fiberglass surface.
- Do not bake the hood with a paint-curing lamp.
- Allow the hood and paint to cure at ambient air temperature.
- Professional installation and paint preparation are recommended for the best results.
