Developed for track-focused enthusiasts, this rear wing significantly increases rear-end downforce, improves high-speed stability and driver confidence, and helps reduce lap times.
The Swan Neck UCW combines the proven silhouette and aerodynamic characteristics of the classic UCW Rear Wing with a more efficient Swan Neck mounting configuration. By positioning the uprights above the wing element, the design allows more of the wing's lower surface to interact with clean airflow, improving aerodynamic efficiency compared with conventional bottom-mount wing configurations.
Verus Engineering optimized the UCW airfoil using advanced aerodynamic analysis, with the airfoil derived from the V1X platform. CFD analysis was then used to verify that the wing receives adequate airflow when installed on the vehicle and maintains strong aerodynamic performance.
During development, Verus Engineering utilized in-house vehicle scan data to achieve a near-OEM fit and finish. The mounting system was specifically designed around the contours of the FT86/GT86 platform, combining machined aluminum components with sheet-steel mounting hardware for a strong, durable, and clean installation.
