Description
The Verus Engineering Street Front Splitter is a street and track-capable aerodynamic upgrade designed to increase front-end downforce, reduce front-end lift, improve high-speed traction, and enhance overall aerodynamic efficiency. Developed as part of the Verus Engineering Ventus 1 package, this front splitter provides meaningful aerodynamic performance in a simple bolt-on design while maintaining a near-OEM fit and finish.
The splitter is manufactured from a hard, durable, and stiff plastic material that is designed to withstand the demands of street and track driving. Unlike aluminum splitter designs that can bend downward and pull underneath the vehicle when impacted from below, the Verus Engineering Street Front Splitter is designed to resist cracking and maintain its intended shape when contacting the ground or encountering impacts underneath the vehicle.
Verus Engineering utilized state-of-the-art aerodynamic analysis software during development to estimate splitter performance and ensure the unit provides appropriate aerodynamic balance with various Ventus packages. OEM CAD data was also used during the design process to achieve a near-OEM fit and finish.
The Street Front Splitter is designed for owners looking to combat front-end lift and increase front-end downforce, improving traction and stability at high speeds.
Important: This splitter bolts to 2013-2016 bumpers only. For 2017 and newer vehicles, the appropriate later-model Verus Engineering front splitter should be used.
For vehicles that regularly exceed 100 MPH, Verus Engineering recommends using the Race Splitter Upgrade Kit, PN A0004A, for additional structural support. The Race Upgrade mounting kit is not included with this product.

Advanced aerodynamic analysis software was utilized during the research and development process to estimate the performance of the splitter and ensure its aerodynamic characteristics work effectively with various Verus Engineering Ventus packages.
The splitter is designed to provide additional front-end grip while also helping balance the vehicle when paired with rear aerodynamic components such as rear wings and diffusers.
Ventus 1 Aerodynamic Package
The Verus Engineering Street Front Splitter is part of the Verus Engineering Ventus 1 package for the Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, and Toyota GT86. The Ventus 1 package was developed to improve aerodynamic performance over the factory vehicle while maintaining a safe and balanced aerodynamic setup.
All components within the Ventus 1 package were designed to work together as a complete aerodynamic system. The package is intended for enthusiasts who participate in track days and want effective aerodynamic components that maintain vehicle balance at speed.
For drivers requiring additional downforce, Verus Engineering offers its Ventus 2 aerodynamic package.
Construction
The splitter blade is constructed from a hard, durable, stiff plastic designed to provide the rigidity required for aerodynamic performance while offering improved resistance to impacts from below.
Unlike aluminum splitter designs that can bend downward and potentially pull underneath the vehicle after contacting an obstacle, this plastic construction is designed to resist cracking and maintain its intended form when impacted from underneath.
Stainless steel hardware is used throughout the installation for durability and reliable long-term use.
High-Speed Use and Race Upgrade
For vehicles that regularly see speeds over 100 MPH, Verus Engineering recommends installing the Race Splitter Upgrade Kit, PN A0004A. The race upgrade adds additional structural support by tying the leading edge of the splitter into structural points on the vehicle.
The Race Splitter Upgrade Kit PN A0004A is not included with this Street Front Splitter and must be purchased separately.
