Description
Improve the front-end aerodynamic performance of your Mk5 Toyota Supra with the Verus Engineering Front Splitter Kit. Properly designed front splitters generate substantial front-end downforce by creating a pressure differential between the upper and lower surfaces, providing increased front-end grip without a significant increase in drag.
Verus Engineering developed this splitter using in-house vehicle scan data and CFD analysis to optimize the splitter and air dam combination. The result is a strong, durable front splitter designed to pair effectively with the Verus Engineering UCW Rear Wing while handling the aerodynamic loads generated at speed.
The splitter mounts to multiple chassis locations for a strong and durable installation. Hardware mounting points are recessed to minimize aerodynamic disruption and maintain a clean, performance-focused surface.
The main splitter is manufactured from Carbon Polyweave, a lightweight and stiff carbon thermoplastic material used throughout high-level motorsports. Unlike traditional carbon fiber and ABS, Carbon Polyweave is designed to resist cracking and breaking, while also avoiding the tendency of aluminum splitters to grab the ground and bend underneath the vehicle.
An integrated 5052 aluminum air dam brings the splitter level with the vehicle's underbody and further improves aerodynamic performance. The air dam is powder coated black for added durability and follows the lines of the front bumper for a clean, integrated appearance.

Why Carbon Polyweave?
The Verus Engineering Front Splitter uses Carbon Polyweave to provide a combination of strength, low weight, durability, and aggressive appearance.
Unlike conventional aluminum splitter materials, Carbon Polyweave will not grab the ground and bend underneath the vehicle in the same manner. Compared with carbon fiber and ABS, the material is designed to resist cracking and breaking while remaining stiff and abrasion resistant.
Carbon Polyweave is also used in various forms of racing, including IndyCar, NASCAR, and Formula 1, making it a proven material for demanding motorsport applications.
Integrated Front Air Dam
The integrated air dam is designed to bring the front splitter level with the vehicle's underbody, improving the overall effectiveness of the splitter system.
Manufactured from 5052 aluminum and finished with a durable black powder coat, the air dam follows the Mk5 Supra's front bumper lines while helping optimize the airflow entering and passing beneath the vehicle.
Aerodynamic Science
When properly designed, a front splitter can significantly increase front-end grip by creating a large pressure differential between its upper and lower surfaces.
Verus Engineering used state-of-the-art aerodynamic analysis and an iterative development process to extract additional performance from the splitter and air dam combination. Vehicle scan data and CFD were used to optimize the design and ensure the components work effectively together.
The splitter was also properly sized in relation to the vehicle's rear wing and diffuser, helping create a more balanced aerodynamic package. Maintaining aerodynamic balance is important because an improperly balanced vehicle can become more difficult to control when driven at the limit.
UCW Rear Wing Compatibility
The Verus Engineering Front Splitter Kit was designed to pair well with the UCW Rear Wing, providing the additional front-end downforce necessary to complement a substantial rear aerodynamic device.
This allows the Mk5 Supra to maintain a more balanced aerodynamic setup when running significant rear downforce.
Ventus 2 & Ventus 3 Aerodynamic Packages
The Front Splitter Kit forms part of Verus Engineering's Ventus 2 and Ventus 3 aerodynamic packages for the Mk5 Toyota Supra.
These packages are designed to significantly increase aerodynamic performance compared with the factory vehicle while maintaining a safe and balanced setup for typical track and HPDE use.
Verus Engineering also focused on maintaining reasonable street usability, including practical front splitter stick-out and rear wing widths, allowing the aerodynamic package to remain suitable for vehicles that see both street and track use.
Installation
The Verus Engineering Front Splitter Kit uses multiple chassis mounting locations and includes the required brackets and hardware for installation.
Verus Engineering provides detailed installation manuals and installation videos for the product to help guide the installation process.
