Description
The Verus Engineering Street Front Splitter is designed to increase front-end downforce, reduce drag, and improve high-speed front-end grip on the 2017–2021 Subaru BRZ and Toyota GT86. The splitter uses a hard, durable, and stiff plastic construction that is designed to resist cracking from impacts while avoiding the tendency of aluminum splitters to bend underneath the vehicle.
Designed specifically for 2017+ bumpers, this front splitter provides a simple bolt-on aerodynamic upgrade for owners looking to reduce front-end lift and improve traction at speed. The 2017+ version automatically includes the Race Upgrade Kit due to the location of the splitter mounting points.
Verus Engineering used state-of-the-art aerodynamic analysis software during development to estimate splitter performance and ensure the design works effectively with different Ventus aerodynamic packages. In-house vehicle scan data was also used to achieve a near-OEM fit and finish.

The Verus Engineering Street Front Splitter is part of the Ventus 1 aerodynamic package for the Subaru BRZ and Toyota GT86. The Ventus 1 package is designed to improve aerodynamic performance over the factory configuration while maintaining a safe and balanced aerodynamic setup.
The front splitter increases front-end downforce to help combat front-end lift and improve grip at speed. It can also help balance the vehicle when combined with various rear aerodynamic devices.
All components within the Ventus 1 package are designed to work together as a balanced system. For drivers looking for substantially greater aerodynamic load, Verus Engineering also offers the more aggressive Ventus 2 package.
Installation
The 2017–2021 Front Splitter Kit is designed for a simple bolt-on installation. The kit includes the required crash beam brackets, splitter tie assemblies, clevises, support bracket, chassis-mounted support hardware, and installation hardware.
Due to the mounting location on 2017+ vehicles, the Race Upgrade Kit is included automatically with this version.
