The Sparco Prime 62 White is a high-performance professional racing suit developed in collaboration with the McLaren Formula One team. It is engineered as one of the lightest racing suits in the world homologated to FIA 8856-2018 standards, designed for elite-level motorsport performance, safety, and comfort.
Developed in Sparco’s advanced R&D laboratories, the Prime series represents extreme optimization in every aspect of construction and material selection. Every detail has been refined, including an ultra-slim lightweight zipper, reduced neck and shoulder padding, thinner thread usage, and fully flattened stitching to minimize pressure points and improve comfort during long racing sessions.
The Sparco Prime LT construction uses a 3-layer proprietary Sparco technology system. The outer layer is a double-faced mesh fabric made from original DuPont Nomex Comfort using the Kompact system. This structure delivers high levels of heat resistance while maintaining excellent breathability. The fabric also contains a high percentage of antistatic fibers, providing strong antistatic protection combined with airflow performance suited for professional motorsport environments.
For driving ergonomics, the suit is designed with pre-curved arms and legs to match the natural seated driving position. An integrated inner thigh stretch panel further enhances mobility and comfort inside the cockpit, ensuring unrestricted movement under high-performance conditions.
The Sparco Prime 62 White is available in sizes 48–66 (European sizing) and comes in 3 colorways across the Prime range. It is fully FIA 8856-2018 approved and also certified to SFI 3.2A/5 standards, meeting the highest international motorsport safety requirements.
