Safety & Maintenance Information
The Simpson Viper is a precision-engineered safety device. To ensure continued protection, the Snell Foundation recommends replacing your helmet every five (5) years from the date of manufacture, as protective liners and resins can degrade over time. To clean the Matte Black finish, use only mild soap and water with a microfiber cloth; avoid petroleum-based cleaners or solvents that can damage the shell's integrity. Always ensure your chin strap is securely fastened and your shield is locked before entering the track. Verify specific safety requirements with your sanctioning body (SCCA, NASA, NHRA, etc.) to ensure compliance for your specific class.
