To maintain the thermal and abrasion-resistant properties of your Apex jacket, wash it in cold water with a mild, non-detergent soap. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as these can damage the heat-resistant CarbonX® fibers and degrade the protective finish of the Poly Duck fabric. Air dry the jacket away from direct sunlight. Before every race, inspect the heatshield panels and sleeve seams for any signs of thinning or heat damage.
