Please Note: The Simpson Apex Kart Racing Jacket is designed specifically for karting applications. It does NOT carry a TPP (Thermal Protective Performance) rating and is NOT fire-retardant. This jacket is intended for protection against abrasion and engine heat in karting environments and should not be used in racing categories where SFI-certified fire-retardant gear is required.
Care & Maintenance
To preserve the life of the CarbonX® sleeve and the abrasion-resistant body, wash in cold water with a mild, non-detergent soap. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as these can compromise the material's integrity. Air dry away from direct sunlight. Inspect the sleeve and heatshield panels regularly for signs of wear or thinning.
