Upgrade the intake system of your MQB-platform vehicle with the Ramair RIP-007-BK Blue Silicone Intake Hose, designed to replace the standard OEM plastic induction hose used on compatible 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI EA888 engines. This direct-replacement silicone hose is engineered to improve airflow through the initial stage of the intake tract while providing a durable and performance-focused alternative to the factory pipework.
The RIP-007-BK features a constant-radius design that helps reduce restriction and promotes smoother, more consistent airflow toward the turbocharger. This design makes the hose suitable for both standard and modified vehicles where improved intake flow is desired.
Constructed from high-quality multi-ply silicone with fabric mesh reinforcement, the hose provides excellent durability and structural rigidity. The reinforced construction helps prevent the hose from collapsing under high engine load, maintaining a consistent airflow path during spirited driving and demanding operating conditions.
The hose features a 70mm internal diameter at the turbocharger side and an 80mm internal diameter at the inlet side, providing an optimized transition between the intake components.
