Constructed using a composite FRP shell formed in pressurized molds, the PRO20 Side Air provides a strong yet lightweight structure optimized for safety and durability. This side air configuration features a built-in inlet designed to accept a standard 1.250" forced air hose. Air is directed from the left side across the face shield to improve driver cooling and reduce fogging during long sessions.
Inside, the helmet includes an energy-absorbing EPS liner and a comfort-fit blended Nomex interior for fire-resistant protection and extended wear comfort. Reinforced M6 threaded inserts are pre-installed for compatibility with HANS and other head-and-neck restraint systems.
The distortion-free 3mm polycarbonate shield provides clear visibility and includes a silicone eyeport seal to keep out dust and debris. An anodized aluminum pivot system with adjustable friction and hand-ratcheting tear-off posts ensures reliable performance and durability under racing conditions.
