The RaceQuip Black Latch & Link 5-Point Harness is a proven motorsports safety solution designed for racers who prefer a traditional, reliable restraint system. Built to exceed SFI 16.1 standards, this harness delivers dependable performance, durability, and secure driver containment in demanding racing environments.
This RaceQuip harness features a 5-point configuration with twin individual shoulder belts and a single 2-inch sub (crotch) strap. Constructed from premium 3-inch polyester webbing for the lap and shoulder belts, it provides exceptional strength while maintaining flexibility and comfort during extended track use.
The system utilizes a Latch & Link style buckle with a pivoting “Duckbill” hammer mechanism. This design securely locks all belts into place by snapping down over the link, creating a strong and reliable connection. The shoulder belts and sub strap hook onto the link, which is then inserted into the latch on the lap belt, ensuring a secure and straightforward engagement process.
Designed with a pull-down lap belt configuration, tightening is achieved by pulling the lap belts downward and away from the buckle, allowing for quick and precise adjustment. The double-adjustable design enables easy length changes on both ends, simplifying installation and fitment.
Manufactured with drop-forged steel hardware and 3-bar slides, this harness is built for long-lasting durability under racing conditions. It supports both wrap-around and bolt-in mounting methods, providing flexibility for various race car setups. Snap hook ends and eyebolts are available separately for alternative mounting preferences.
