Description
The RaceQuip Black Latch & Link Drag-U 5-Point V-Style Harness is engineered for high-performance drag racing and motorsports applications. This V-style harness features shoulder belts that attach to a single mount point behind the seat, forming a secure "V" shape for optimal driver restraint. Also referred to as 4-point belts in some configurations, this harness exceeds the SFI 16.1 rating for safety and durability.
Constructed from premium 3" polyester webbing with drop-forged steel hardware, the harness is both strong and lightweight. The pull-down lap belt design allows easy tightening by pulling the lap belts away from the center latch & link buckle. A pivoting "Duckbill" hammer on the lap belt locks all belts securely into place for consistent performance during launches. Both shoulder belts and the sub-belt hook over the link, which is inserted into the latch on the lap belt, then secured with the Duckbill.
The harness is double adjustable for convenience, with shoulder belts adjustable from 26" to 40" and the lap belt from 20" to 60". Installation is flexible: wrap-around mounting on a roll bar or bolt-in using the included three-bar slide hardware. Snap hook ends and eyebolts can also be used (sold separately).
This harness is designed exclusively for off-highway and motorsports use and is not D.O.T. / FMVSS certified for street vehicles. Proper installation requires a roll cage or secure harness mounting point.
