Designed for Ford Super Duty F-250, F-350, and F-450 models from 2017-2019, these headlights represent Morimoto’s most advanced evolution in LED headlight design, offering exceptional output, customization, and durability.
Built around an all-new generation of Morimoto Bi-LED projectors, the XB Evo system delivers outstanding low beam width and high beam intensity, engineered to meet and exceed strict modern lighting performance standards. Each headlight utilizes four Bi-LED projectors powered by OE-grade Nichia LEDs from Japan, ensuring a powerful, consistent, and highly controlled beam pattern for maximum road visibility.
The XB Evo headlights are also designed with full compliance in mind, meeting DOT, SAE, and FMVSS108 standards for on-road use in North America. In their standard configuration, output is regulated to remain compliant while still delivering best-in-class performance. For off-road applications, optional Supercharged LED drivers can significantly increase output for maximum illumination in non-road environments.
A major innovation in this system is the patent-pending Frost-Free heating technology, which actively warms the lens surface to reduce frost and ice buildup in cold and wet conditions. This ensures consistent light output and visibility in harsh winter climates, activated through a simple high-beam input sequence.
Customization is a core feature of the XB Evo platform. The Signal Swap system allows users to configure daytime running light color and turn signal behavior directly through a plug-and-play interface. The DRLs can operate in either white or amber with full intensity, while turn signals can be set to sequential or standard operation with smooth transitions.
